Having a major life event? You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period

Are you considering relocating, getting married, having a child, or changing jobs? You may be able to acquire or adjust your Health Insurance Marketplace coverage outside of the yearly Open Enrollment Period if you make major life decisions.

If you’ve had a qualifying major life event, you have 60 days to enrol in coverage after the incident. You can apply for or change plans online or over the phone. Use this checklist to gather all of the information you’ll need before calling or logging in.

Check to see if you successfully qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
